Description
The limited edition Bombardier Cooper RAOC 1953 Goldwork Badge crewneck sweatshirt. The hand embroidered goldwork badge has been immaculately rendered by the renowned artsans at Hand and Lock London and sits proud on the left chest. The ancient art of Goldwork involves each piece of metal bullion being placed and stitched by a master embroiderer on to a melton wool base, combined with coloured threads to the create the design.
The three gun 1953 design honours Henry Cooper's time spent during national service with the RAOC (Royal Army Ordnance Corps) 1952-53 referred to as 'The Boxers Battalion'. Cooper would win the the ABA light-heavyweight title in 1953 representing the Army, a title he'd won as a civilian the year before.
The sweatshirt itself is crafted in premium 100% cotton, solid navy, brushed back sweat fleece, with a vintage wash, chosen for comfort and resiliance. The raglan sleeve, side panel, stitched eye-lets, two- tone ribs and contrast top-stitching are all authentic vintage sweatshirt features - tributes to old school sweatshirts couched within a modern cut for the optimum fit.

Returns Policy
We want you to be entirely happy with your order and if for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase you have 60 days from the receipt of your order to return it to us for an exchange or refund. If you elect to exchange we will not charge you for the postage on the new item. Items must be returned in the original packaging and not worn, washed, damaged or have had the tags removed.
Your package will come in our courier bags that have a second sealable strip and a returns label, simply fill out the returns information, re label and re seal the bag and drop it off at your post office.
UK returns are complimentary - a returns label is provided and paid for.
Europe and Rest of the world - a returns label is provided but you will need to purchase the appropriate postage to return the package.
